1. Q. Can textures be repaired and if so does Pro texturing offer this service? 
 A. Yes most textures can be repaired. But it is always recommended that you speak with Pro Texturing before choosing a pattern, as some patterns are easier to maintain than others. Yes Pro Texturing does offer repair service on a variety of patterns. Please contact us immediately upon finding damage. In most cases it is better that no attempt at polishing is made prior to our inspection, in some cases the repair can be done easily.

2. Q. Can welded areas be textured?
 A. Yes, but only in some cases. Contact Pro Texturing before welding. In some cases it is possible that the welding will not texture satisfactorily, and other options must be considered.

3. Q. Does the E.D.M. process affect the textured surface, and can it be tested?
 A. Yes E.D.M. has a serious affect to the texturing process, and must be completely polished out. Yes the areas that have been polished can be tested prior to the texturing process.

4. Q. Does Pro texturing need to know what type of material has been used to build the mould?
 A. Yes, although it is not necessary it does help us to create accurate data on the job for future reference.

5. Q. Is there anything that needs to be done to the mould prior to shipping?
 A. Yes refer to our Mould Preparation page.

6. Q. What does Pro texturing Need in the form of custom artwork?
 A. You can e-mail us a file from artwork created on a PC. Or we can help with a design at our facility. This service will be covered in your quote.

7. Q. Are there specific levels of polishing required?
 A. Yes refer to our Mould Preparation page, surface finish.

8. Q. If a plastic sample with a textured surface is provided, can Pro texturing Match it?
 A. Yes, with a good sample most patterns can be matched.
