As far as texturing goes, we feel that it is important to outline the procedure in an effort to make the customer better understand what is going to happen to the mould and for the customer to be able to prepare the mould more effectively. One of the first thing's we do is thoroughly clean the tool, to remove burrs and grease oil etc. residue left behind from testing. |

This helps us to ensure that our masking procedure goes smoothly and it sticks properly to the surface. The mask procedure includes all seal off areas up to the parting line. After the masking procedure is complete a light blast of surface to be textured is applied. Once again this helps ensure a clean surface for the texture pattern to adhere to. |
